and Model.Richa Gangopadhyay was born on
20th March 1986 in New Delhi ,India. Richa
Gangopadhyay parents are Utpal(father) who
works as COO of Netscape Technologies and
Paula Gangopadhyay who works as Director of
Education at The Henry Ford Museum in Detroit.
Richa Gangopadhyay was brought up in
Michigan, USA.Richa Gangopadhyay finished her
Degree in Dietetics and Health Administration at
Michigan State University, Michigan. Earlier in
2005 and 2006 she started participating in
beauty pageants and finished in the top ten in the
Miss India USA competitions.After that,
Richa Gangopadhyay was crowned with Miss India USA 2007,at the 26th annual Pageant held
in New Jersey.Richa Gangopadhyay left USA in 2008 and reached India for getting on her career
in films.She later completed her diploma in acting from Anupam Kher's acting school.
Richa Gangopadhyay debut movie is the Telugu film political drama Leader opposite to Rana
Daggubati.The Film Leader was produced by AVM productions and directed by Sekhar
Kammula.She has got good marks for her acting in that film Leader.
