in Commerce in Stella Maris College, Chennai.
The film career of Samantha started with singing up of three Tamil films.But her first movie
released is Gautham Menon romance Telugu film named as Ye Maaya Chesave in which
Naga Chaitanya son Akkineni Nagarjuna played a lead role.
Samantha was acclaimed for her role in the movie Ye Maaya Chesave.Samantha has achieved Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for the Movie Ye Maaya Chesave and also South Nandi Special Jury Award.
